Out for a bike ride!

Ethan is getting pretty good at bike riding. We did over a mile and he made it the whole way. Has a little trouble getting going once in a while, but he did a good job! He was pretty proud of himself, on the way back he raced Daddy and Kellen!

A trip to Animal Land!

The lions were taking a snooze in the sun!

Ethan and I had fun feeding this deer, it followed us all over!

They love grapes!

Kellen had fun feeding the fawn grapes!

We spent a couple hours at Animal Land this afternoon. It's just down the road from us and in four years we haven't been there once. So today was a beautiful sunny day, a bit too cold for my liking at the end of August....it felt like fall and we decided to go. Kellen was really into feeding all the animals grapes and Ethan was so busy runinng from one animal to the next he didn't feed them as much. It was a good time! They have deer, goats, ducks, camels, a llama, raccoons, lemurs, cougars, lions and a bunch of other things I can't remember the names of. Then they also have some fun things inside like a boa constrictor, a macaw and baby tigers!

Kellen's First Hair Cut....not a baby anymore!!!

Ethan went first to show Kellen how it's done!
Look at those golden locks!!

Better sit on Mom's lap, I am not too sure about this!

Kellen sat very still, was a little skeptical about Jess and those scissors!

Mommy was very brave, only a couple tears.

All done! He chose beads and a sucker for his treat!

I can feed myself!!!!

Itasca State Park Camping Trip

Grandma Joanne (Grandpa too) came to visit.

Ethan and Doug crossed the Headwaters of the Mississippi

Ethan did the 3rd trip solo! Way to go!

Sitting around the campground

Last weekend we stayed at Two Rivers Campground by Royalton. It's a beautiful campground between Little Falls and St Cloud. The campground is on a long strip of land between the Mississippi & Platte Rivers, lots of nice green grass and huge oak trees. It was beautiful! We had good weather and a great time!
